Norton 600 19S 1955

A very late version of the big 600cc OHV single which was in production from 1933 to 1958, even allowing for the War that is some production run! Often a sidecar puller, it also makes a more than acceptable solo tourer.

Another model which ran from the thirties to the fifties with only minor enhancements, the Big Four was an amiable sidecar puller with few vices. Overshadowed by the flashier units this long running machine sold in great numbers for solo and sidecar work and is a sensible classic buy.

AJS 350 16M 1954 - Sold

The AJS brochure for the period states that "When economy counts, but the performance of a big machine is desired, the model 16 is the obvious answer". I wouldn't go quite that far, but these were solid reliable machines with a pedigree going back many years.
